Is there anything better than sitting in Jamaica on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and simply relaxing? I spent a week in Jamaica visiting several resorts in order to better service my clients. What can I say, I love my job!! I was fortunate enough to stay at Sandals Negril. Despite the continued Sandals construction, this large resort had so many surprises and I left with a better understanding of why people return every year. Sandals Negril is located in Negril, Jamaica on the most famous 7-mile beach on the west coast of Jamaica. It is an all adult- all-inclusive property that has so much to offer. It is about 1 hour and 15 minutes from the airport (Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay) and the ride is quite enjoyable on the Sandals transportation that is complimentary with the room package. Sandals is one of those resorts that you can go to and never spend a dime. So, it really is the perfect All-Inclusive Resort. Here is a bit of the all-inclusive amenities at all of the Sandals resorts.

After all of the water sports and fun in the sun, you will most likely be starving. Sandals Negril does not disappoint. There are 7 dining options that will have you always full. The Barefoot by the Sea Restaurant is a wonderful Seafood Restaurant located on the Caribbean Shore. It is the only restaurant where you can walk up barefoot and dine. It is a truly remarkable experience. The Beach Bistro is another option where they offer beach grilling and Jamaican Specialties. Bella Napoli Pizzeria has some of the best wood fire pizzas in the Caribbean. It is so delicious and always a great afternoon snack. The Sundowner is an Authentic Jamaican Restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing, and the restaurant has a really unique aspect. Ask the wait staff, “Why do you call it-the Sundowner?” They Bayside Restaurant is the breakfast and lunch buffet.
There are two restaurants that do require reservations: 1) Cucina Romana the Italian restaurant and 2) Kimonos restaurant which offers the Japanese Teppanyaki. All of the food was ridiculously yummy. All I did was eat the whole time!
Sandals Negril has five bars/cocktail lounges throughout the resort including the ever-popular Swim Up Pool Bar, Piano and Sports Bar, Main Bar, Kimono’s Bar, and the Beach Bar. While I was there, I was treated to a tasty beverage at the Piano Bar while I sat and took in the scenery.
Few resorts are located as close to the waterfront as this one and so to be able to sit back and relax and just enjoy it was a huge treat. The bright colors abound at this resort where you can admire not only the Caribbean waters, but beautiful flowers, plants, and of course, tropical drinks at every turn.
